Hello, friends!!! In this week’s installment of Get To Know Your Baronial Awards, we are going to shine a light on the Award of the Azure Gauntlet.
The Award of the Azure Gauntlet (AAG) is given for notable prowess and level of participation within the Barony in a martial activity.
What are martial activities, you may ask? According to SCA.org martial activities are:
• Armored Combat
• Rapier Combat
• Target Archery
• Combat Archery
• Thrown Weapons
• Equestrian Activities
• Youth Combat
Do you know someone who has consistently shown great skill and bravery in any of these activities within Nordskogen? Have you noticed that they have participated at a very high level? Maybe you see them at events, practices, meetings, demos. Go ahead and give them a shout out!!
